JPTV: What I'm Watching Tonight

My writing-about-stuff-obligations have been encroaching on my watching-stuff obligations lately, so I have a little brush to clear from my TiVo backlog--particularly Battlestar Galactica, on which I feel I owe you a post sometime. I have a date with Topic-of-the-Day Heroes, and a solid commitment to finally get back in touch with Prison Break (or at the very least, to have my TiVo watch it for me). [Update: Duh--no Prison Break this week. A reprieve from the warden!] And 24--it's seeming less and less urgent nowadays, even with evil James Cromwell, no? Though I think we all knew he had it in him, ever since he killed that duck in Babe.

James Cromwell was deliciously, brilliantly dark and evil in L/A/ Confidential, remember?

He's a well-known vegetarian. Make of that what you will. I actually think 24's been solid this year and people should give it a shot. The Fame guy's return was satisfyingly slimy. Only negative is Regina King and 'Walid.' Little earnest for my tastes.
