Tuned In Takes a Holiday

I'm on vacation this week. I'll probably post occasionally, because I'm a sad, lonely man who needs the attention.

In the meantime, why not entertain yourselves by fighting with each other in the Comments section? I'll start you off. The Office--are you on Team Pam or Team Karen? I say Beesly had her chance and Jim needs to move on. Have at it!

Team Pam -- But only because I don't really like the actress playing Karen. She was the inspiration of the best line of the show this season, though: 'You're very exotic-looking. Was your dad a GI?' But man, do I love that show.

Also, is it me, or is Friday Night Lights getting better every week? The show finally 'took on' race in the last few episodes, and did it in a way that didn't pander to any demographic group or stereotype, something incredibly rare on network TV. So I guess I'm on Team Coach Taylor, too.

Team Pam - everyone deserves a second chance. She just needs to go for it, though, instead of waiting around for him. But the whole point of her current storyline is her own self-discovery. Jim will just be icing on the cake.

Nothing against Karen - the whole vampire trick on Dwight last week was awesome.

Def Team Karen...Pam had her multiple shots and is a scared little girl...Karen is cute, funny, commited and actually admits liking him....but its obvious what the outcome will be...

Team Sawyer? Sorry, desperately looking for more Lost posts.

Damn the vacation man, you are expected to do a weekly LOST post. But down the bloody mary and start typing. NOW!

A bit off topic, but how 'bout Michael showing up Pam's art show? And not to get credit or suck up or anything--in his mind, of course he would make it. That's why I prefer him to David Brent. It reminds me of what Jim said when Josh bailed on Dunder Mifflin to go to Staples or wherever: "Say what you will about Michael Scott, but he would never do that." It's sheer genius how the writers make such a cringe-worthy character undeniably likeable and human in the end.
