The Morning After: Getting the Asses in Gear

We had to sit through two whole episodes of Viva Laughlin to get it, but The Amazing Race 12 debuted on CBS last night, and it kicked off in typical form with a race of peat-laden donkeys in Ireland. The big question thus far is how Kynt and Vyxsin--the goth couple, above, who look like human Good and Plentys--will maintain their makeup through all that international travel. Thoughts on this or any other weekend TV? Pony 'em up.

I haven't had a chance to watch Amazing Race yet. But I am so excited. It is my favorite reality program.

But I have to say, Brothers and Sisters never fails to drag a few tears out of me. And I don't cry easy. The scene with Paige wishing she could be two places at once, brought me right back to a similar scene from my own childhood. Nora lying in bed with Kitty, and then Robert comforting a crying Kitty. Let the nominations begin.

I know, I know it's sappy. But I like it. So sue me.

The storyline with Tommy on the other hand, bothers me. It seems a bit rushed for him to be already jumping in another bed. I mean Julia's side of the bed is hardly cold. I wish they would have slow played this one a little more.

I could leave the Amazing Race thread with just one comment, so I'll just add that I'm so glad it's back!

I am so happy that Viva Laughlin sucked so bad and so early! Love that we got the happiness of TAR earlier than scheduled!
