...and so the Nerd Herd takes an unscheduled vacation, thanks to the writers' walkout. It'll be some time before I catch up with this on TiVo, so feel free to offer your performance evaluation here.

Another enjoyable Chuck last night. Chuck and Morgan both seemed a bit over-the-top in their antics, and I don't remember seeing Captain Awesome, but still worth watching. Adam Baldwin was the standout last night, he communicates so much with just a slight tightening of his eyes. And his Crown Vic scenes were hilarious. I knew as soon as he told Chuck how much he loved the car, and how it had GPS tracking, that the car was as good as destroyed then. Chuck and Sarah pretending to fight while Bad Dude kept saying "Actually I don't have time for this". Priceless!

We saw another side to Anna, which was nice. I was a little fuzzy on what her parents had to do with the counterfeiting ring, I'll have to watch it again.

Her parents didn't have anythign to do with the counterfeiting ring. They are Taiwanese diplomats connected to the shady taiwanese guy on the boat.

I hope they're not so easily giving up on the romantic tension between Chuck and Sarah. As much as I love everything else, it's my favorite part of the story.

As for the Intersect II... Intersect, too? I think Sarah and Chuck are going to be forced to go on the run together after the Big Mean Government decides it's had enough of Chuck. Casey isn't going to go with them (yet). Casey is going to go Snape and be hunting them for the government. After a number of near misses, we, the Viewers, are going to wonder if he's the good guy we think he is, or if he's really trying to kill Chuck. If the show is REALLY doing well at that point, they're going to have the Chuck Wedding, then Sarah's going to get shot (by Casey... or Bryce). But that's at least 4 seasons away.

    What?

Ah Dave I love your creativity and enthusiasm, but alas Chuck and the kids hanging in the normal world is much of the love of the show.

But I think Sarah and Casey will stand up for Chuck. And somehow Chuck will prove indispensible, is he now better than the Intersect or does the Intersect II fail/get destroyed...

And I don't think we're done with the romantic tension, did you see that handshake? But as much as I hate a drawn out romance I think Sarah's feelings for Bryce and her desire to protect Chuck are valid reasons to put the heat on hold.

Even Chuck is on strike? I love this show. I have been a fiend of a fan of the office until the strike broke out and watching all these amazing episodes of Chuck just makes me want more. When is this chaos going to end? I can't take it anymore. I need my chuck back.
