The Morning After: Straight Outta Vilnius

How happy it is that, after its post-Family Edition lull, The Amazing Race--the only situation in the world where it's a bad thing to get inadvertently bumped up from coach to business class--is worth watching again. I won't spoil last night's episode, but read the comments at your own risk. All I know is that I suddenly, badly want to visit Dobrovnik. Travel tips or other weekend TV discussion welcomed here.

Great episode last night! I was sad to see those 2 get the boot, I was hoping against hope that this was a non-elimination round since I knew that it would be on a break for 2 weeks!

I'm just glad Nick and Donald are still in there.

Yep, too bad - they had the energy and drive to make the finale and keep it exciting. What a rip on the flight - bet they will cringe if they ever have to book business class personally...

Guess I'll have to pick a new "truly my favorite" team...

If the writer's strike continues, I vote for churning out another ARace series for the winter!

Hey, let's do a tv celebrity edition since many of them have time on their hands right now....

I've heard that there are no more non-elimination legs at all. Just a rumor though. I like constant eliminations better anyway.

I also feel really sorry for Nate and Jen. Reasons being because they're quite dysfunctional as a couple, but also bc I felt they were robbed last episode. The taxis wouldn't take them because they were wet? That was rough. They could've won some neat prizes. (I recall they also lost 1st place by a hair in an earlier episode). On the flip side, I kinda feel like the father/daughter pair are pretty dysfunctional too, even though they won. The father kinda irks me.

A tv celebrity edition would interest me. But I don't think it'll happen, especially because regular editions are already criticized for highly disproportional representation of models, beauty pageant winners, and actors/actresses.
