Robo-Post: All-Purpose Discuss-o-Rama

I decided not to robo-post a daily Morning After thread over break, there being so little original TV on during the holiday weeks. But I'll leave this up as a general hangout / do-it-yourself discussion area for the week. Have fun! Use the coasters!

Even if there were original content on, I wouldn't know about it. My in-laws are in from out of state as they are each Christmas and the old one eyed monster is tuned to wall to wall football. I'm one of those rare red blooded, all American males who could care less about football. But when the old dad-in-law (who I actually do love) rolls in, the TV goes to football and nothing else. I gave up on trying to watch anything else while they are in town years ago.

Just finished watching seasons 1-4 of The Wire On Demand before Season 5 begins and am speechless. Am not sure why I didn't watch this when it was actually on. Maybe, too much of a downer? Maybe, too many characters? Etc. Whatever the reason, I was a moron, and am the first to admit it now. Have never seen anything like it. Homicide comes close, but had many more hours to tell its stories.

This was kind of my Christmas present to myself. So happy happy holidays to all here and be kind to yourselves, too!
