AMC Spins Off Jackie Kennedy
If you watched the season 2 premiere of Mad Men, you saw televisions in every room tuned to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's tour of the White House. Now you can watch TV just like Betty Draper and Salvatore! AMC is streaming the entire original CBS/NBC News special from Valentine's Day 1962. Adjust the rabbit ears on your laptop and enjoy!
Besides being a cultural artifact, it's interesting to note that (1) it's almost impossible to imagine two major networks collaborating to share a broadcast like this today and (2) much as we all like to talk about the fluff-ification of TV news nowadays: this was an hourlong network news special.
