Project Runway Is Out—Until January
Entertainment Weekly (via TV Tattle) reports that we'll get a little more of a break from Heidi Klum and company than planed, as Lifetime has pushed back Project Runway's debut on the channel until January.
The move (from a planned launch sometime in the fall) seems to make good sense, since the original plan would have had season 6 launch in the fall, somewhere close on the heels of season 5. Still, unless there are major plans to change the structure of the competition—which climaxes in a show at New York's Fashion Week—the basic production schedule will have to stay the same; there are two Fashion Weeks a year, one in spring and one in fall. (Right now, in fact.)
