The Morning After: Runs, Hits, Errands

Last night, most of America watched the first game of the World Series on Fox. Some of the less athletically minded of us watched Stylista on The CW, in which young fashion aspirants compete to become an assistant at Elle magazine. Being a go-fer for a fashion magazine is actually probably about exactly as degrading a job as being a contestant on a reality show, so the subject is probably a better fit than usual, so I could see this being an escape for me even after I'm trying to avoid professional sports. (Though I wouldn't mind a moratorium on the suffix "-ista" for anyone who is not a Latin American revolutionary.) Now if only someone would make a reality competition for batboys....
