I think I've just been excommunicated from my generation), but eventually it grew on me and I realized that it is 1) funny, 2) sweet, and 3) insightful. It manages to both mock and honor its protagonists, and it's really a dynamic and well-crafted family sitcom. Plus I think Peggy is the most exquisitely drawn character on TV -- she's dreadful, of course, but pitch perfect. . Anyway, I can't say I'm sorry that it's being canceled (it's had a good run), but I do think it deserves recognition as a quality show. Watch out CBS - CSI:Vegas now takes the pole position, and that was with lessened Grissom - with no Grissom, is there any point?
