I spent awhile hating this show on principle, without ever really giving it a chance (sorry, but I hated Beavis and Butthead . . . I think I've just been excommunicated from my generation), but eventually it grew on me and I realized that it is 1) funny, 2) sweet, and 3) insightful. It manages to both mock and honor its protagonists, and it's really a dynamic and well-crafted family sitcom. Plus I think Peggy is the most exquisitely drawn character on TV -- she's dreadful, of course, but pitch perfect.
.
Anyway, I can't say I'm sorry that it's being canceled (it's had a good run), but I do think it deserves recognition as a quality show.

Honestly, I had no idea it was still on. I haven't seen an episode in years. I think FX have had the rights here for a few years, but I haven't seen them advertise new episodes any time recently.

I had this as my "Show that deserves to die" pick, and I don't regret it - while I am a fan for all the reasons James posted, the show has simply run its course (and Judge being involved less doesn't bode well either).

Watch out CBS - CSI:Vegas now takes the pole position, and that was with lessened Grissom - with no Grissom, is there any point?

Its definitely an awesome show, hilarious and perceptive and quirky. At least it gets another season (or half season?).
