Speaking of remakes, saw this at imdb.

Stamos Plans Full House Remake
4 December 2008 10:59 AM, PST

The cast of 90s U.S. sitcom Full House is planning to return to the small screen in an up-to-date version of the show that launched the careers of the Olsen Twins.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen found fame sharing the role of little Michelle Elizabeth Tanner in the comedy, which ran from 1987 to 1995.

It also made stars out of castmembers Bob Saget, John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier and Candace Cameron Bure.

And Stamos is plotting to reunite at least some of the cast for a "semi-remake".

Cameron Bure tells Ok! magazine, "John has been working on a semi-remake of Full House.

"I know it would involve me and Jodie Sweetin. We would revive our characters, but today as young women."

The only show I want to come back is The Dresden Files, but not remade, just not be cancelled anymore.

The only show I can think of that I wouldn't being remade would be Dr. Quinn, MD.

I second being happy to hear that Wonderland is remembered. I read somewhere that the first six episodes were shot before it was canceled, I've always known there was no way that it could ever be put out on DVD but I now can hope that it will somehow end up on the internet.

I would like to see Nothing Sacred brought back. I think more than ever it could say interesting things about the state of our society. And I also think that Karen Sisco and Maximum Bob were sharp, clever adult shows that never got a chance to grow an audience.

I'm just glad you brought up Wonderland, because I loved that show and on the rare occasions it's remembered by anyone, it gets criticized!

@ Tom Shaw

Agreed on Sports Night. Not that I'm not looking forward to the Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Musical, that he is supposedly writing, but I do miss his TV writing. Aaron Sorkin needs to get back on the acid, shrooms, qualuudes and cocaine (but needs to learn to leave them at home when he goes the airport. Seriously who does that?) and start churning out Sports Night scripts again. After all, we never found out if CSC was acquired by Quo Vadimus or if Casey and Dana would never stop dancing around and get busy already. Damn, that was such a great cast of characters. Now you've made me go all nostalgic.

Haha, yeah Ashman, guess that's "-10, didn't answer the question" to me, but I also tend not to watch the first season's on shows or at least not until I stumble upon them midseason so I don't really have any good answer for that single season shows that should be remade.

Now wanting to get into semantics, but if you maintain the same cast (as would be necessary for Arrested Development/Veronica Mars/Firefly/etc) then it is so much of a remake as a, I don't know, return to television. The current Family Guy is not a remake of the 2000 Family Guy. It is the same show that was canceled, it just sort of came back.
.
There are a lot of canceled shows I would love to see return, but most of them would require all, or nearly all, of the cast to return as well. This makes their return unlikely. Top of that list is Deadwood.
.
@Tom Shaw, I think you are referencing Point Pleasant of 2005? Which certainly has some thematic parallels, but wasn't nearly as good.
