They air the Glee pilot as a preview tomorrow. The rest of the episodes (which haven't been written, much less filmed) wait until next year.

Wait, once again I'm kinda confused. Glee has already been picked up for a second season even though it doesn't premiere until tomorrow? And *gasp* it's at the same time as LOST? I really need to get DVR. . .

Is it wrong that I already have a huge smile on my face about Glee, just based solely on critical acclaim and the trailers for it? Because I do....even if it will be going up against Lost in 2010. I'm really hoping this show works....

I feel Fringe at the Thursday 9 slot could be risky for the show, hope it does well.

The smartest thing the CW has ever done was on accident - their Thursday action block.
-
If I am a movie advertiser, and (budget wise) most of my interest is in promoting action-heavy movies for Friday, the best match for my money is a Thursday action show.
-
So I heartily endorse the Fringe move, even while thinking their ratings are about to take a huge hit. Or, given how heavy the DVR ratings are on Office already, does The Office become everyone's third choice? (Assuming a mixed sex couple in their twenties/thirties, GA & Fringe take 1 & 2.)
-
And the other day I said it was Fox that should look into limited run Fall shows. I meant scripted shows durnit, not turning one third of your M-F lineup into reality show filler. And how the heck will Dance hold up when it is preempted repeatedly for baseball? Don't reality shows generally need reliable time slots?
-
And one raised eyebrow at the Saturday night animation repeats. Trying to eat Adult Swim's lunch, are we?
