Obama's Insecticide: Colbert on the Aftermath
As you no doubt already know, because you are a serious person who keeps up with world events, the President of the United States killed a fly with his bare hands on camera the other day. I have no good reason to embed the video. And yet I will. Because it is the President of the United States killing a fly with his bare hands. Remember, when the President does it, that means that it is not illegal:
I'm guessing this was all an elaborate stunt to create a triangulating, Sister Souljah-like confrontation with PETA. That fly looked suspiciously well-trained! Anyway, there were so many directions a late-night comic could go with this, but I have to give it to Stephen Colbert, who spoke to the family behind the tragedy:

I am at times embarrassed by my public fellow republicans calling foul for the "fly killing" President. I dont see it but whatever. But Colbert, top notch. "Murder" brilliant.

The fact that this got so much coverage says so much about today's "news" media. They're quickly becoming a parody of themselves. FWIW, I bet Bush could have done the same thing. But who cares either way? What about the substance of the interview? Remember substance?

@gduvall: lol. awesome. I suppose we will get no substance like when he was on The View during his campaign.

At least the President is drawing flies to him. Most popularity polls favor the fly over the President.
