I didn't watch any actual TV, but I did spend my afternoon (sick with a head-cold, cuddling with a blanket and my sweet puppy-dog) watching the first 4 episodes of Merlin on Hulu. It was so much better than I expected - well-cast and interesting and funny. Special effects are often filled with maximum cheeze, but that's OK. The pilot was pretty good, and subsequent episodes improved on it. King Giles is awesome, dude manages to play the heavy without being one-sided or totally unsympathetic. Good summer viewing.
