I love "Into the Pride" on Animal Planet. It's the most exciting show I've seen this summer. Short summary: a big cat expert/trainer is hired by a African wildlife reserve to deal with a pride of aggressive "last chance" lions, which will be destroyed if they don't learn how to deal with humans better. The show is basically the host, on his own (the camera crew is kept at a distance), getting as close to the lions as possible and getting them acclimated to humans. He gets charged and roared at, etc. It's more tense than "Hurt Locker."
